Cambridge Beaches has earned an international reputation for true excellence and affords privacy and comfort, the perfect escape! It is set on its own 25 acre peninsula with the ocean on two sides and Mangrove Bay on the third and has five lovely private beaches and several sandy coves.
The beautifully appointed cottages house different room types and are spread throughout this garden estate. Suites have a garden view, a bedroom and a separate sitting room and are traditionally furnished. Waterview rooms are the standard double rooms while Deluxe rooms are a little larger with a sitting area. The recently added Deluxe Premium rooms are more contemporary in style and located on a small rise within the grounds. Most rooms have excellent water views. Cambridge Suites, both traditional and contemporary, are the most exclusive category and have the best ocean views and separate sitting rooms. All accommodations have marble bathrooms, terrace, air-conditioning, cable TV, CD players and data port, king bed or twin beds and each room is individually decorated. For the true romantics, Cambridge Beaches have a super new suite with a private plunge pool on the terrace and a luxury interior which includes a flat screen TV, a 6ft whirlpool bath with views to the sea and a fabulous shower.
The Main House is elegantly furnished and includes the superb Tamarisk Restaurant, the library, the outdoor Mangrove Bay Terrace, a bar and an attractive lounge. This 250 year old building is further enhanced with lovely fireplaces and complimentary afternoon tea is served here daily between 4 pm and 5 pm.
Dining is a real pleasure either in the Tamarisk or on the adjacent terrace or on warm summer days the beach restaurant is a lovely alternative for either lunch or dinner. Breakfast is served in the dining room or can be delivered to your cottage.
There is plenty to do at Cambridge Beaches! Its Marina has a wide variety of marine equipment with windsurfing, canoes, kayaks, motor boats, numerous sail boats and snorkelling equipment. Scuba diving, deep sea fishing or reef fishing are easily organized and bone fishing is available from the property.
There is a heated outdoor freshwater swimming pool, three tennis courts, a croquet lawn and putting green and even a private launch to Hamilton in the summer or complimentary ferry passes in the winter (obtained at reception).
The fabulous Aquarian Baths offer a whirlpool, indoor swimming pool and exercise pool, solarium, cafe, shop and exercise facilities. The 5,000 sq. ft Ocean Spa has over 100 different types of pampering treatments suitable for both ladies and gentlemen, or couples together and has a relaxation area too.
